What does EdoMatch HR Suite do?

EdoMatch HR Suite covers the full employee lifecycle in one application: hiring and onboarding, contracts, monthly payroll, leave, time and attendance, documents and compliance. HR managers, accountants and employees each get their own view, and every company's data is kept separate from every other company's.

  • Payroll: automatic income tax and social security deductions per country, payslip PDFs with company branding, bank payment file, annual payroll statements in Excel, custom allowances, deductions and bonuses.
  • Contracts: permanent, fixed-term, internship, part-time, consultant, freelance and probation contracts generated from country legal templates in the right language, edited in a rich-text editor and downloaded as PDF, with alerts before they expire.
  • Leave: annual, sick, maternity, paternity, compassionate and unpaid leave with accrual-based balances, one-click approval and medical certificate enforcement for longer sick leave.
  • Time and attendance: clock in and out from the web, monthly timesheets with overtime, bulk approval, and optional tablet kiosks at the office entrance.
  • Compliance: a live compliance score that flags missing tax or social security numbers, expired contracts and probation deadlines, plus a monthly digest email.
  • Employee self-service portal: payslips, leave balance and requests, contracts, timesheets, onboarding steps and profile updates.
  • Analytics and AI assistant: workforce, payroll and leave dashboards, and an assistant that answers HR questions from the company's own data in English or French.

Who is EdoMatch HR Suite for?

It is built for small and mid-sized employers, NGOs, and regional groups that employ staff in Ghana or in French-speaking West Africa and want payroll that follows local law without an expensive integration project. It also serves payroll bureaux that run payroll for several client companies from one console.

Companies with employees in more than one supported country run a separate payroll per country from the same login, each in its statutory currency. A Ghana payroll is computed in cedis with PAYE and SSNIT; a Côte d'Ivoire payroll in CFA francs with ITS and CNPS.

How much does EdoMatch HR Suite cost?

EdoMatch HR Suite costs USD 15 per active employee per month, with every module included. There are no tiers, seat packs or setup fees, and each new company starts with a 30-day free trial. Billing is in US dollars; the app shows an approximate local-currency equivalent.

What EdoMatch HR Suite does not do

Native payroll is limited to Ghana, Togo, Côte d'Ivoire and Benin. EdoMatch is not an employer of record: it does not hire staff on your behalf in countries where you have no legal entity. Companies that need payroll across dozens of countries, or EOR hiring, are better served by a global provider.

Which countries and statutory rules are supported?

Each country's tax brackets, social security rates, minimum wage and leave entitlements are built in, so a new company is compliant without configuration. The table shows the rates EdoMatch applies today, read from the same rules the payroll engine uses; employer social security includes the minimum work-injury rate where it varies by sector. Always confirm with the relevant tax or social security authority.

EdoMatch HR Suite vs alternatives

EdoMatch vs SeamlessHR

SeamlessHR is a Lagos-based HR and payroll platform with native payroll in Nigeria, Ghana and several East and Southern African countries, sold by quote after a demo. EdoMatch focuses on Ghana and French-speaking West Africa (Togo, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin), publishes a flat USD 15 price and offers a 30-day free trial. Choose SeamlessHR if Nigeria is your main market.

EdoMatch vs Workpay

Workpay is a Nairobi-based HR, payroll and employer-of-record company that markets coverage of all 54 African countries, with pricing by quote. In Ghana it is sold as an employer-of-record service. EdoMatch runs payroll in-house, under your own legal entity, in four West African countries at a published price.

EdoMatch vs Deel

Deel is a global platform for hiring and paying people in many countries, strongest as an employer of record (from USD 599 per employee per month). In Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire it offers EOR; in Benin, local payroll through PaySpace. EdoMatch suits companies that already have an entity in West Africa and want local payroll and HR for USD 15 per employee.

EdoMatch vs BambooHR

BambooHR is a US HR information system with a strong core HR product and a French (Canadian) interface, but its payroll covers US employees only. West African employers using it still need a separate local payroll tool. EdoMatch combines HR and statutory payroll for Ghana, Togo, Côte d'Ivoire and Benin in one product.

EdoMatch vs Sage

Sage payroll products are widely used in francophone Africa and are sold, installed and configured by local partners, with prices by quote; Sage 300 People supports Côte d'Ivoire CNPS rules. EdoMatch is cloud software you can start yourself in minutes, with country rules built in, a public price and an employee portal included.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best payroll software for Togo?

For employers in Togo, EdoMatch HR Suite computes IRPP income tax, CNSS contributions (4% employee, 17.5% employer) and the 3% employer payroll tax automatically, in CFA francs, with French contracts based on Togolese law. It costs USD 15 per employee per month with a 30-day free trial.

Does EdoMatch HR Suite calculate PAYE and SSNIT in Ghana?

Yes. EdoMatch HR Suite applies Ghana's GRA PAYE bands and SSNIT contributions (5.5% employee, 13% employer pension) to every payroll run in Ghana cedis, and produces payslips, a bank payment file and annual payroll statements.

Does EdoMatch HR Suite handle ITS and CNPS in Côte d'Ivoire?

Yes. EdoMatch HR Suite applies the DGI ITS bands, CNPS contributions (6.3% employee, from 15.45% employer) and the 2.8% employer payroll tax to every Ivorian payroll, in CFA francs.

Can one company run payroll in several West African countries?

Yes. A company with staff in, for example, Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire runs one payroll per country from the same account. Each run uses that country's currency (GHS or XOF), tax and social security rules, so currencies are never mixed in one run.

Is EdoMatch HR Suite available in French?

Yes. The whole interface, the employee portal, notifications and emails are available in English and French, and contracts are generated in the legal language of each country: English for Ghana, French for Togo, Côte d'Ivoire and Benin.

How much does EdoMatch HR Suite cost?

USD 15 per employee per month, with all modules included and no setup fee. Every new company gets a 30-day free trial.

Is EdoMatch an employer of record (EOR)?

No. EdoMatch HR Suite is software for companies that employ their own staff through a local entity. It does not become the legal employer of your staff. For EOR hiring, providers such as Deel or Workpay offer that service.

Who can use EdoMatch HR Suite?

Company admins, HR managers, accountants and employees, each with their own permissions. Accountants see payroll and reports without HR settings; employees see only their own payslips, leave, contracts and timesheets.
